believe are significant in preventing crashes,
injuries and fatalities. They are: Hazard Recognition,
Vehicle Handling, Space Management and Speed
Management.

Behind-the-Wheel Instruction: |
Our behind the wheel (BTW) instruction is designed to meet specific objectives for each drive, however, instructors work with a student at their skill level. If specific objectives are not met they are picked up in the next drive. DrivingMBA does not offer BTW instruction as a stand alone program. We believe the combination of simulation and on-road experience develops better drivers.
An integral part of our behind-the-wheel program is the student and parent debrief. This allows the instructor to speak with both the student and parent about student progress and areas that still need work.

Parent Class: |
| Parents play a critical role in their teenagers driver training process. For a parent, driving with their teenager can be "scary" and for a teenager, driving with their parent can be frustrating. The Parent Class is designed to assist parents in their role as coach. The class begins with excerpts from a video on the teenage brain so that parents can better understand the brain development of adolescents and teens. Instructors provide parents with resources and advice on how to approach conversations and setting the ground rules from the beginning. We provide practical tips on how to go from driving in your neighborhood to driving on surface streets and highways. This class also gives parents the opportunity to interact with other parents and learn tips and techniques that work for others. |
